Patrick has over 25 years experience leading manufacturing companies in diverse industries including medical, dental, aerospace, and motorsports.
Having introduced Celluma in October 2020 to our in-clinic and at-home treatment portfolio, I was fascinated to learn more about Patrick’s own motivations in creating the Celluma products and how LED light therapy can be used to treat a wide array of aesthetic and pain concerns.

✔️ The power of Low-level light therapy for aesthetics & pain management
✔️ Why Celluma is a whole-body, whole-family solution

This was actually my first ever ‘meeting’ with Patrick and it was a real honour to talk to the inventor of this incredible technology which I know will be of enormous benefit to my patients, both in-clinic and at-home.
Ron Borsheim, Vice President of New Business Development, BTL Industries
I first had the pleasure of meeting Ron back in June 2018, when I was invited to a private demonstration of a ‘top-secret’ new technology in Central London.
That technology was EMSculpt, then almost unheard of but now acknowledged as one of the major breakthroughs in non-surgical body contouring in the last 20 years, with an 89% ‘worth it’ rating on RealSelf and well over 500,000 treatments successfully performed globally.
Ron has vast experience in surgical, ophthalmic and aesthetic technologies, as well as, orthopedic, gynecology, urology, ophthalmic, radiation oncology and cosmetic procedures.
Ron is a senior leader in global aesthetics and someone who has founded and shaped many of the key technologies we use today, including Smart lipo and a range of non-surgical innovations. Closely involved in new product development, Ron also provides some unique insights to our EMSculpt technology.
Our topics of conversation include:
✔️ The story behind BTL and how this background of sports science led to the introduction of EMSculpt
✔️ The clinical studies and robust data that underpins EMSculpt and its multiple FDA approvals
✔️ Future trends and innovations in non-surgical body contouring and how EMSculpt continues to evolve as the category leader

Dr Quibell is the Vice President of the American Board of Laser Surgery (since 2008) and a Fellow of The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
One of my Aesthetic mentors, I have had the pleasure of learning from Dr Quibell for several years now, and I am continually in awe of her mastery of laser medicine and the science that underpins these technologies.
I had the honour of presenting alongside Dr Quibell last year, discussing how we integrate topical skincare with laser technologies at S-Thetics Clinic as part of our hyper-personalised treatment regimes.
Our topics of conversation include:
✔️ Dr Quibell’s background, how she started in Aesthetics, her passion for lasers
✔️ How laser technology has evolved?
✔️ Common misconceptions around lasers?
✔️ What do you treat with lasers and why?
✔️ Future trends in lasers and how this can benefit the patient
Dr Quibell is also in a word, fun, and has the rare ability to communicate incredibly complex science and concepts into a way I know my audience will enjoy as much as I do.

Bryan Johns & Alec Call
The Co-founders of iS Clinical, CEO Bryan Johns & COO Alec Call have tremendous passion, scientific knowledge for their products and a sharp focus on philanthropic efforts, supporting initiatives such as cancer care in the US and both serve on the President’s Council of the National Breast Cancer Coalition.
This is a conversation recorded recently as part of a virtual seminar, where Bryan & Alec are interviewed by Molly Peters, Director of Sales.
Perhaps unusually for what is now a global company with their products available in over 60 countries, iS Clinical is still controlled by the founders, Bryan & Alec. This means that they are not driven by shareholders to release new products to satisfy a shareholders timescale. Rather, they take the time to clinically test, validate and formulate new products that have a clear clinical benefit to skin conditions. This is down to their own standards and timescales, hence why the products are of such high clinical benefit to our patients.
Since my first visit to their US production facility in California, I was fascinated by the precision and pharmaceutical-grade standard of manufacturing that went into the formulation of their products.
On a personal note, as the first Doctor in the world invited by Byran & Alec to formally act in the capacity of Global Brand Ambassador for iS Clinical, I have enjoyed educating medical professionals around the globe on how we integrate iS Clinical skincare to our hyper-personalised treatment protocols at S-Thetics Clinic.
I am immensely proud to be working with and representing a company and products of such unwavering commitment to quality, purpose and ethics and I hope you enjoy hearing from Bryan and Alec as much as I do.
Bryan and Alec here talk about the ‘white glove’ process where their team literally all wear white gloves throughout the entire product creation journey, from formulation to shipping, meaning that as well as incredibly high standards of cleanliness, a stray fingerprint will never appear on a bottle of iS Clinical product.
Their topics of conversation include:
✔️ How efficacy is linked to the ingredients and creation of skincare products
✔️ The meticulous testing that occurs throughout the product formulation process
✔️ How they have led and navigated a global company through the pandemic
✔️ The philanthropy and ‘people first’ ethos that underpins the company
✔️ The future direction of iS Clinical

✔️ The growth and evolution of Nutraceuticals
