Made by Allergan, the brand behind BOTOX, it is the first injectable designed to specifically address skin quality and is suitable for treating the face, neck, décolletage and hands.
Composed of hyaluronic acid (HA), which is naturally found in abundance in our skin, cartilage, joints and the fluid in our eyes, VOLITE is an effective solution to numerous skin ageing conditions.
This is because our HA production, which is the most water-loving molecule known to man, is a key part of what makes our skin look fresh and hydrated.
However, around one third of our total HA is made and broken down daily and as we age our bodies’ natural ability to regenerate HA slowly decreases.
With VOLITE, you will see strong improvements in skin smoothness, elasticity, hydration and overall quality of the skin, with results that can last up to nine months with a single dose.
It also contains a built-in anaesthetic – Lidocaine – making the whole injection process a much more comfortable experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
Juvéderm Volite
1. What results can I expect?
With Juvéderm VOLITE, our patients see results almost immediately, with optimal results being seen within the first month as the treatment also triggers natural collagen production.
Your skin will look smoother and more hydrated, giving a healthy, ‘refreshed’ appearance. With our surgeon and cosmetic doctor, Miss Sherina Balaratnam, you can expect natural-looking results that restore balance and harmony to your face.
For best results, we advise all new patients to return for a dose review three weeks after their initial treatment.
2. Is this treatment suitable for me?
If you are looking to improve the overall quality and radiance, or are looking to plump and hydrate your skin, this treatment could be recommended for you.
We can also use Juvéderm VOLITE to improve some types of acne scarring, as well as addressing things like fine lines.
At S-Thetics Clinic, we believe a detailed consultation and full VISIA skin analysis are essential before performing any treatment. It is during this consultation that we will discuss your suitability for Juvéderm VOLITE, though, we can generally use this product on a wide range of our patients.
This treatment would not be suitable if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or undergoing IVF.
3. Is there any downtime?
While there is no downtime with Juvéderm VOLITE, we would recommend our patients to avoid wearing make-up post-treatment for the first 12 hours. Apart from that, you can immediately return to your everyday routine.
4. Are there any side effects?
As with any medical procedure, there is a risk of unwanted side effects with HA dermal filler treatments. Most side effects are normally short-lived and often relate to the injection procedure.
Following injection, there may be redness, slight swelling, or bruising around the injection area but these usually only last a few days.
