Our patient, Victoria, who recently had lip fillers with the latest Juvéderm® VOLIFT® range of dermal fillers.

Our patients typically come to us requesting the correction and beautification of their lips. We deliver subtle and elegant results using the latest in dermal filler technology.

Dermal fillers are typically made of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring sugar found in the Juvéderm® posters (8 of 9)body. As we age, the amount of hyaluronic acid in our skin decreases, which is why lip volume can decrease and lines can appear around the mouth.

Treatments can be phased over more than one appointment, giving you control over the ideal look you wish to achieve.

Miss Balaratnam is well known for her ‘less is more’ approach to facial enhancement – her aim is to respect the individuality of your face, whilst helping to enhance your features to restore balance and harmony. The desired result is a healthy, refreshed glow – like after a good night’s sleep or a holiday – not to dramatically change the way you look

Miss Balaratnam also holds the prestigious title of “Local Country Ambassador” (LCA) for Allergan, the manufacturers of BOTOX® and the Juvederm® range of dermal fillers. As one of only a handful of expert UK practitioners selected as an LCA, she regularly trains and mentors other health care professionals in non-surgical cosmetic rejuvenation treatments and injection techniques.

Lip enhancement is ideal for those seeking:

– instant results

– restoration of natural volume loss and definition

– correction of downturned mouth corners

– treatment customised to your individual needs

– little or no downtime

– non-permanent

What happens?

All patients have the option of having a topical anaesthetic cream applied to the treatment area(s) for 30 minutes prior to treatment. This helps to minimise any discomfort during the treatment.

How long does it take?

Treatment time is up to 30 minutes depending on the areas selected and results are immediate, long lasting and natural in appearance.

Is there any downtime?

You may experience slight swelling, bruising or redness in the injection area. Our dermal fillers also contain lidocaine meaning the area treated is also further numbed to enhance your experience.

How frequently do I need them?

Depending on the area treated and injectable filler product selected, you can expect the results to last up to 1 year.
