Introducing a new venture to an old town

From the renowned May Fair that can be traced back to 1269, to the traditional stretcher race that takes over the high street each summer, the charming Old Town of Beaconsfield is steeped in tradition. Nestled in the idyllic county of Buckinghamshire, where one may not quite believe that Oxford and London sit a mere train journey away, the town has been home to lords, refuge to travellers and meeting place to traders for centuries.

Now Miss Sherina Balaratnam will launch her new clinic, S-Thetics, in one of the picturesque
buildings that grace the town’s historical high street.

Having originally founded S-Thetics in 2007 during her plastic surgery training, Sherina wanted to offer prime aesthetic treatments to repair and boost skin health. At the time, she had been training as a Fellow in Burns Reconstruction, when she discovered how non-surgical aesthetic treatments could complement and enhance surgical procedures, soon becoming enraptured with the importance of good skin health.

The next eight years saw Sherina specialise in medical aesthetic treatments, working across the country in clinics based in Knightsbridge, Bristol, Bath, Norwich and Manchester. However, after falling in love with Beaconsfield in 2013, she realised her own venture needed a permanent home.

The S-Thetics clinic can now be found in the romantic Grade II listed building of Marlborough House. Offering a discreet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the Old Town, with a private entrance and a tranquil lounge, the clinic is set over two floors with two consultation suites, carefully refurbished to retain the elegant architectural features of the building for a soothing atmosphere and relaxing clinic experience.

Focusing on skin health, Sherina and her team will offer state of the art medical treatments in advanced skin care, including energy-based treatments such as radiofrequency, to provide optimum results and become leading skin specialists in the area. Providing a range of treatments for a variety of indications, Sherina will also utilise her background in burns scar management to focus on her key interest of acne and acne scarring.

With the launch just a week away, Sherina cannot wait to welcome you to her new clinic. Book your consultation early to find out how you can get a head start and make the most of your skin.
